Audi A5 Sportback and S5 premiere most potent in the Paris salon

After the coupe version of 2 doors in July, it is the turn of the 4-port A5 (Sportback) debut, alongside its sports version S5, in the salon of Paris at the end of September. The two models are expected to disembark in Brazil in the first semester of the next year, according to Audi.

They were up to 17% more potent than previous releases, but without damaging the fuel economy. On the contrary, new technologies have reduced consumption by up to 22%.

Just like the 2-door coupe, the second generation of A5 Sportback and the S5 bring as newer lines more elegant, new platform that allowed the weight reduction and items already present in other brand cars, such as the fully configurable instrument frame.

There is also adaptive cruise control, band maintenance assistance, bottling assistant, cross-traffic warning, exit warning, plus a system that, in case of imminent collision, prepares the belts and closes the windows and performs a stronger braking.

Among the motorization options of the A5 Sportback are the 2.0 TFSI, with 190 or 252 horsepower, and 3 options for Diesel (TDI), being April 1 cylinders (190 CV) and June 2 cylinders, with 218 and 286 CV.

Already the sports version S5 comes with a turbo V6, dumping 354 CV on the 4 wheels, accompanied by automatic transmisssão (Tiptronic) of 8 speeds. This combination takes the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, according to Audi.
